Clyde is a very scaredy wolf. He was very weak while he was alive and only killed if it was absolutely necessary, and he always felt guilty after doing so.
He ate Pipsie and died a few hours after that when he was hit by a passing truck.
After that he was supposed to go to heaven but Chi-chi messed with Lelé's paperwork and sent him to hell instead.
His personal hell ended up being tortured by Pipsie for the rest of eternity. He doesn't actually feel pain since he is dead, but he feels very guilty because he is the one who killed the rabbit.
In hell Lelé helps him gather courage and defend himself from Pipsie and Chi-chi, but Clyde is too much of a coward to do it.
