BACKGROUND
For many years ago something strange happened to planet earth, people who had already passed away were coming back to life. Panic spread around the world. No one could explain why this was happening. The world was in chaos until they finally figured out the reason why was due to a mysterious airborn virus, but despite finding out the reason why everyone were still powerless. They couldnt stop it so instead the living people created a barrier that would separate the world in two and keep the living and the dead apart, both getting half of the planet to live on. The barrier is being controled and maintained by the churches on the living's side of the barrier. How they managed to create such a powerful barrier is unknown, a secret only the highest priests knows.
Like any other living dead Kagome used to have a normal life before she died. When she was alive she had a different name, a name she cannot remember anylonger like the rest of her life as a living human being. She worked at a hospital as a nurse. She was just as loving and caring as she is today and everyone loved being around her due to her positive energy and warm smile. One day an accident happened to a young girl and she was rushed to the hospital Kagome worked at. The doctors and nurses did their best to save the girl but in vain, she couldnt be saved. The father to the girl couldnt bear the pain of losing his precious daughter and started drinking to drown his sorrows, but the more he drank the bigger did his sorrows become and so did his hatred towards the hospital as well. He blamed them for his daughter's death and one day he decided to express his anger and sorrows in the most horrific way. He was going to shoot everyone at the hospital. Kagome wasnt one of the nurses who was involved with the little girl's surgery but she still became one of the father's first victims. He shot Kagome right through her right eye with a gun and killed her instantly. Everything went black until Kagome found herself laying in the middle of a dark forest, unable to remember anything. She wandered around in confusion for a while until other living dead people made her situation clear to her, she was dead but still here at the same time.
