The Rhetus is a Neotropical metalmark buttery genus, and are found general in open areas of the rainforest! They are fast flying, but with very small wingspans about 25–30 mm. These little beauties prefer the cloudy and more dull afternoon conditions, than bright sunshine, and are very placid.

Delicate wings adorns this Annies back as placid and knowing eyes gazes your way, sending calming vibes throughout your body. This calm and equable beauty, is that of grace and pose in each step, as her long sleeves glides across the grounds, sending white butterflies to flutter about before settling back onto her fabric. The glowing blue of her dress stands out the most, giving her an aura of peace.. but what are those blue strands swaying about as if having a mind of their own? Antennas maybe?

"One fine day we'll see all our dreams come true."

Personality

Sayori is somewhat of a reserved person. She doesn't like talking too much about herself despite the fact that she's a known celebrity, and would rather just let her actions speak for themselves. She does always enjoy talking up other people though. Often times she'll go out of her way to promote her friends' works and is always willing to give support to loved ones. She's a bit of an idealist and dreamer too, always looking on the bright side and thinking big! Still, Sayori knows that dreams don't come true without a lot of hard work and discipline, which she doesn't just pay lip service to. She takes every role she gets seriously and does her best to meet the high expectations she sets for herself, never settling for lower.

Due to being constantly judged even from a young age, Sayori is always "on". She has a smile for every occasion and always speaks very eloquently, sometimes sounding rehearsed even. She's somewhat self-conscious about her image as she knows that many people look up to her, and she would hate to let them down in any way. With friends and loved ones she'll relax a little more, but she still prefers to listen rather than talk and it's hard for her to truly speak her mind at times. Sayori is always really good at reading people, something that helps her quite a bit in her career, but that end up unnerving others as it almost seems like she's reading their minds.

History

Sayori was born to a noble family in the capital and grew up with her twin brother, Orion. Their parents placed a lot of value on the performing arts and pushed the two of them into acting and theatre and violin and music respectively. Sayori was classically trained in acting from a young age and began appearing in minor roles as soon as she received her blessing. Sayori found her parents' active role in her life stifling, but she ended up finding theater really enjoyable. She worked incredibly hard to make a name for herself and gain independence from her parents. Her skills in both acting and incorporating magic into her performances started to get more attention, but it was her role as the heroine of a tragic love story that eventually launched her celebrity.

While she was typecast for a while, her versatility as an actress was soon recognized, and she started playing a variety of characters, still mostly appearing in serious dramas, however. She became widely known and people came from far away to watch her critically acclaimed shows. People also loved how graceful and elegant she was and she became somewhat of a fashion icon as well. Still, Sayori doesn't let the spotlight get to her and continues to do what she finds enjoyable. Currently, she resides in the small suburb of the capital, Ivy, away from the clamor of city life.

Relationships

Orion is Sayori's twin brother who she is really close to! As the two of them grew up doing the same things and both felt stifled by their parents, they empathize with each other a lot, and now as adults, really support each other in chasing their own goals and desires. Despite the two of them being really busy, they try to make time to talk to each other regularly and keep each other updated. Sayori is always supportive of Orion chasing his dreams of becoming an architect and often gets more excited about his jobs than he does. She'll always save a seat for Orion opening night of her new shows, and he'll bring gifts and flowers for her each time as well. Whenever one of them has a major success, they'll go out on town to celebrate and spend some quality time together while they're at it.

Sayori met her best friend Esperanza when a fellow cast member recommended her to visit Esper to train for the role of a "provocative anti-hero." Esper, while slightly miffed at her reputation, did her best to help Sayori. and while working together they grew close and found that they had many things in common. Both of them enjoyed chatting about fashion and traveling, and they bonded over their similar pasts as well. Sayori adores how freely Esper expresses herself, not only in speech but in clothing and dancing as well. Even after she finished her first role, she continued visiting Luminoire often to train with Esper and hang out. Sometimes they will get into little debates as they have strong and differing views on many topics, but they remain friends nonetheless. If anything, the two enjoy their somewhat heated conversations.

Sayori and Nathaniel are good friends who work together often. Sayori first heard of him after acting in a small musical he wrote, and falling in love with the music, she sought out the composer. What she found was a rather prickly, somewhat narcissistic guy who didn’t like sharing his music because he believed that no one would be able to truly appreciate it. However, Sayori was persistent about talking to him about his compositions and Nathaniel eventually opened up because he was flattered that a famous actress was interested in his work. After getting to know each other better, they became good friends, and Sayori eventually coaxed him into sharing his work with wider audiences. She even starred in many of his new plays herself, and eventually Nathaniel gained more recognition. People often like to gossip about whether the two of them are dating, but the two of them simply have a healthy platonic friendship built on mutual respect and support.
