Algernon is a transfer student from California with mannerisms and clothing telling of a luxurious upbringing and trust funds back west. Quiet, insightful, and calculating, he generally keeps to himself until you get to know him. He's behind his peers in athletics, and a little bitter about it.
Story
Algernon's mother and father are prominent American Heroes working alongside the SFPD. It's no wonder Bowie and Gadget scant mention their son--Algernon lives in the shadows of his parents, and hopes to escape the pressure an ocean away.

Quiet, observant, and cautious, Charles finds it hard to put himself into the mindset of a hero. He finds it more practical to use existing kitchen utensils for their designated purposes than growing skewers out of his own body every time he needs to make a sandwich, "Mom." "What?
