About

Vee is a Lambda Floss that mostly lives in the Phi Clan. She’s currently the successful leader of a growing F-Pop (Floss Pop) idol group called Psallo that will occasionally go on world tours to showcase their performances.

She, along with her five other team members, have all worked hard to put up some very bright and exciting shows as Psallo. Together, they’ve all achieved the fame of stardom, and they’ll continue to advance forward and fight past any future obstacles standing in their way.

It’s either go big or go home, which is a life motto that they wholeheartedly believe in.

Personality

As the leader of an F-Pop idol group, Vee is loud, courageous, energetic, and lively. She can also be a bit too brash and reckless at times, and is prone to forgetting about the consequences of a decision in the heat of the moment. Her instincts can jump onto fight rather than flight real fast.

She’s actually self-aware of this behavior, and will deliberately act on it in order to corner or tick a person off if needed; she’s pretty good at figuring out the truth behind a situation if someone is trying to hide something from her.

On top of being a natural athlete, she’s quick to act. This can result in her being impulsive every now and again, but in some cases it can help save a situation too.

She’s fiercely loyal toward her loved ones and can be a tad overprotective too. She may have not been the sharpest when it came to school, she didn’t really give much of a shit for her education, but she’s really smart street-wise, and can be lowkey cautious of the world as a result.

Lastly, because of her street smarts, Vee is extremely talented at being sneaky. Despite how loud her presence can be sometimes, she can still be super slick, sly, and can fly under the radar, much to the surprise of many if they found out about this side of her. A lot of the time, she’ll actually use her exuberant and outgoing personality as a distraction, so that they won’t find out what’s really going on.

Abilities

As a Lambda, Vee is capable of sensing and controlling emotions. She can usually sense negative emotions slightly better than positive ones, since those are the easiest to read. So if someone is faking happiness, she’ll be able to tell with ease.

She can only help anger or excite someone whenever she‘s trying to control a person’s feelings, she can’t generate any other emotion. She also can‘t do this with more than one person at a time, she can’t focus on two people at once.

Even so, Vee is still able to find some use in her abilities. For example, whenever she had wanted to pick a fight with someone back in her delinquent days, it would come in handy. And even now, she’s able to turn up at a party and make it more wild and lit over time. She can basically be a ringleader for chaos if she wanted to, she really knows how to tick someone off or make them enthusiastic about something. It really just depends on how she wants to influence a person or group, though again, she typically specializes with one-on-one meetings with her power.

Backstory

Even though she’s a Lambda Floss, Vee was actually born and raised in the Iota Clan for most of her life.

Growing up, Vee had a Lambda father and an Iota mother, but they mostly just resided in the Iota region. Vee’s father was a living and breathing fraud, he was an expert conman that would always pretend to be a traveling magician or sales person. It was commonly either one of those two. If you allowed him to distract you for even a minute with his bullshit products and card tricks, he could swindle your money in the bat of an eye. He was the type of guy that showed Vee how to ‘accidentally’ bump into someone while successfully grabbing hold of their wallet.

Meanwhile, her mother was actually part of a mafia group that specialized in elaborate bank robberies. She also used to be a right-hand contract killer for the previous boss of her crime organization. She taught Vee how to fight, how to flee the crime scene, how to hide your tracks, how to pick a lock, how to use certain weapons, etc.

So, Vee grew up under very shady circumstances. Her morals were skewed as a result, and she began to develop this thing where she’d start fights with other kids at school just to gain attention.

And within due time, by the time she was twelve, Vee became known as a textbook delinquent to her peers and teachers. She was often seen as a problem child, even though her parents couldn’t care less about how she performed in school since they never did well in their academics either, and detention became like her second home.

One day, after getting into a particularly nasty fist fight that quickly went wrong and morphed into a school-wide mayhem (this was some wild shit, like everyone was fighting against everyone at that point), she was suspended and forced by the school board to enroll in a correctional boarding academy in the Alpha Clan for troubled kids.

Her parents weren’t that concerned by the school’s notice and just told her that Vee should do it in order to lay low for now. They were confident that she could handle herself. She just had to kill time and then she could freely move back to the Iota Clan again if she wanted after high school was over.

So, with no way around the decision, Vee reluctantly packed her bags for the Alpha Clan.

The Big Move

After moving into the Alpha Clan in her new dorm room and meeting her new Alpha roommate (who she didn’t even bother to learn the name of since she already knew she was going to hate her living experience in the Alpha region), Vee immediately started learning about the rules. She mapped out her surroundings, memorized her environment, and just kept track of how everything would usually run.

And then, after sailing past her first week of school and behaving like a goody-two-shoes for once in her life, she fucked that all up by stirring some shit again. Using her anger-inducing abilities as a Lambda, instead of getting involved in fights herself, she’d purposely ‘encourage’ others to fight instead. She’d eventually have the whole damn boarding academy under her control, with everyone acting out on blind rage and just fighting against each other, just like with her old school back in the Iota region.

If she was going to be stuck here, in this stupid school, for the next four years, then she was gonna fucking have fun with it.

However, there was one huge obstacle that interfered with her plans… and it was a snitch.

Her nameless Alpha roommate, who Vee had forgotten all about up until now, had noticed what she had been scheming and had snitched on her. She (the roommate) ratted her out and basically exposed her to the headmaster.

To say that Vee was angry was an understatement. She was livid. Because now that she had been revealed as the mastermind behind everything, she had to be sentenced in detention for a whole fucking school year and do community service hours on top of all that.

She instantly grew to loathe her roommate, and she quickly started to remember the name of her newfound enemy with a burning passion: Lucy Hyde.

Getting to Know Lucy

For the remainder of her miserable first year in high school after that, Vee despised Lucy. Lucy was everything that she disliked in a person. She was obnoxiously optimistic, a stickler for the rules, and had stubborn beliefs in the good of people, much to Vee’s disgust. While Vee would internally hiss every time Lucy was around, Lucy didn’t see view her in the same way. In fact, Lucy was apparently determined to bring out the best in Vee and ‘have her grow into a better person’ or some bullshit like that.

Well, Vee wasn’t gonna let her have her way, hell to the no. She wasn’t just going to stand there while Lucy ruined the rest of her high school days. Of course she was gonna retaliate back, take vengeance for how much Lucy had wronged her by ruining her life back, and only then would she be satisfied.

So, Vee would channel all her energy into making Lucy’s life as painstaking as possible. For example, she’d mess with her by stealing all of her pencils from her backpack before Lucy could go out the door for their morning lectures.

She’s also try to trip her in the halls, make a mess out of her room when she was gone, and eat all of her snacks out of spite, since they did share a dorm.

In return, as a notorious teacher’s pet, Lucy would quickly get nominated as a hall monitor. She’d also volunteer to watch after the students in detention (which included Vee) for some of her teachers, and since all of the teachers loved her, they’d be lenient and let her do whatever, so long as she was still earning those good student points. She’d get all up on Vee’s ass and strictly watch over her as much as possible.

It was murderous intent at first sight.

One day, after Vee had wrapped up an hour-long phone call with her parents, she couldn’t sleep and was feeling homesick. This wasn’t the first time that she had felt this way, she’d been feeling this way more and more lately. She tried to heat up some milk to drink in the middle of the night, but then she heard something from Lucy’s side of the dorm.

A gentle tune.

Lucy was singing to herself, her vocals generating one of the most soothing melodies that Vee’s ears had ever heard. The soft-spoken lyrics of a makeshift song drifted in the air, carrying with it a delicate rhythm.

If Vee was being honest with herself, she probably fell in love with Lucy’s voice that night, and that would only be the beginning of an entirely new problem. The way that Lucy sung was enchanting, to say the least. It really calmed Vee somehow, it made her feel at peace with the world and she hated that she craved it. Lucy was like a powerful siren that would call out to her.

And well, as embarrassed as she was about this, Vee couldn’t help herself. Whenever she could, whenever she was still awake late at night, she’d slowly draw closer to Lucy’s side of the dorm without her noticing, leaned back against a wall, and just tuned in to her nightly lullabies. Lucy herself was probably unaware of Vee’s (admittedly) creepy behavior, and Vee had preferred to keep it that way at the time.

Unfortunately, however, Lucy found out one night when she went out of her room to fetch a glass of water, only to notice Vee just sitting there next to her door, with her knees drawn up to her chin and in a half-asleep state.

Change

Instead of teasing or putting Vee down for wanting to listen to her voice, Lucy asked if she wanted to hear more since it seems to be helping her sleep, much to the Lambda Floss’ surprise. At first, Vee felt skeptical and thought that this had to be some sort of weird trick. However, when Lucy stared at her, there was a kind and genuine look in her warm brown eyes, and with her Lambda powers, Vee couldn’t sense any sort of reluctance or deceit coming from her either.

So, hesitantly, Vee agreed.

After that, it would start to become routine for Vee to listen to Lucy sing her to sleep every night. Much to her mortification, and even though she wasn’t doing it on purpose, Vee started opening up to Lucy more after that. She’d start to steal her shit less often, and in return Lucy would be less strict on monitoring Vee around the school. They were actually growing closer now, and they were genuinely bonding too with time.

Then, one day, Vee asked if Lucy wanted to be a singer. Lucy, with some reluctance, replied that yes, while she did want to be a singer, she didn’t think that she was good enough to actually become one. She wasn’t confident enough in herself to ever chase after that dream, much to Vee’s dismay.

Vee tried to persuade Lucy into at least considering music as a career option, she couldn’t believe that Lucy thought that little of her talent. Frowning, Lucy then retorted back and said something along the lines of ‘if you think it’s so easy to sing for the world, then why don’t you do it?’

Although Vee was not a spectacular singer by any means, and she usually only sang in the shower, Vee could actually sing well. Her voice had a more deeper, alto tones to it, but she could still do it good enough to not sound horrible or off pitch. She demonstrated for Lucy right then and there, just to try and prove a point.

Lucy looked stunned after Vee had showed her what she could do. She was impressed, so much so that she began encouraging Vee to sing more whenever they were together. Flustered by all of the warmhearted praise and compliments, Vee actually did try to sing more from then on, but only around Lucy for now, since Lucy was right about one thing: it was definitely nerve wracking to sing for the entire world to hear.

One day, a talent show with a money prize in their high school was announced. It had caught Vee’s attention, and she knew that this was one of the only few chances that Lucy was going to get in order to share her vocals for people.

After talking to Lucy about the talent show and trying to convince her to do it, Lucy finally relented, but on one condition: she would only go up there if Vee was going up there with her. It was either a singer duet or nothing at all. Although Vee didn’t want to do it at first, she knew that this was the only way for Lucy to gain more confidence in herself and agreed on those terms.

Weeks go by after that, consisting of frequent after school singing practices and more. They’ve decided to cover one of Lucy’s favorite pop songs. Vee’s crush on Lucy, which had probably been there ever since she had heard Lucy’s voice, only strengthened even more the longer they had spent time together.

When the night of the talent show came, they actually won second place. It wasn’t first place, but it wasn’t last either, and they were very close too. It was still a big achievement for them.

After that, they started singing more songs together, more pop and hip hop, and eventually they learn how to be in sync with one another. By this point, Vee was just full on fucking in love with Lucy. While their graduation was fast approaching, Vee decided to muster up the courage to confess to Lucy during their last week of school. It was all or nothing.

Leap of Faith

Turns out, Vee didn’t have shit to worry about. Lucy actually knew about her feelings all along. Vee wasn’t as smooth as she thought she was about hiding them if even an Alpha like Lucy could tell. And the best part: Lucy actually liked her back.

They shortly begin dating after acknowledging their reciprocated feelings for each other.

Then, from there, they decided to become singers. They wanted to at least try, and try they did. They managed to get in contact with a guy who was willing to help them go far. His name was Jasper and he’d eventually invite other singers (who eventually become their friends) in to form an idol group. Although Vee wasn’t as strong of a singer compared to Lucy and some of the other girls, she had the most confidence and leadership skills out of everyone, and so that’s how she was appointed as the official leader of their crew.

And now, a couple years later, here they are. They’re Psallo, and the world is their stage.

Other

Even though she’s trying not to curse as much as she used to as a kid, especially whenever Psallo is out in public together for concerts and interviews, Vee can’t help it sometimes. It’s a bad habit that will just slip out in her speech, especially if she’s real pissed off about something.

Since Vee was born and raised in the Iota Clan for most of her childhood, she’s never really lived in the Lambda Clan before. She’s visited the Lambda Clan and its crisp shorelines before for summer vacations and to celebrate the Alatinero Luau, the Lambda’s month of celebration, but she’s never had to stay over there for more than maybe three weeks. She’s actually very clueless about most of the geography over there, and could easily get lost in that region since she’s not a native born Lambda Floss.
