Main Game OC

This character is based off the trainer in my Pokemon videogames, so their birthday is the day I've began the game and such things like Pokemon team, Gym accomplishments and some story events are based on real in-game stuff; please respect that, they're not meant to replace the canon protagonists in any way.

 :bulletblue:Main story:
With her mother working on a cruise ship and her father being a merchant, Diana has always been used to travelling, moving and visiting new places. She never really had the time to "set her roots" in Lilycove due to that, despite technically living there, so had always been aloof with other people and never really bonded much with those her age, preferring older kids (or people in general). She grew up to be more mature for her age, and with a love for travelling and adventuring; however, Lilycove still marked her in some way, as she grew interested in the battling and contests held in the Arenas, and aimed one day to be so popular that all of the Pokemon Fanclub would cheer for her.

One day, as she accompanied her father during one of his trips (Pokeball supply to Oldale Town's market), she wandered in the nearby route, "rescuing" Prof. Birch from a wild Zigzagoon. The professor, as in-game, to thank her gave her a starter Pokemon (Tsunami the Mudkip). As Diana was getting back to her father, she got attacked by the very same Zigzagoon from before, who meant no real harm and was just a bit too eager and rough into trying to steal berries and other items he may like from people. She captured the little fella, who would become Cico, her main Pokemon partner.

From then on, she starts her own journey as a Trainer (she was 11 years old already, afterall), and made her way up through Gyms and Contests quite quickly. When she reached Slateport City, meets there Argento and Ash, who were just arrived to Hoenn via ship to try and fight depression (they had both lost their Pokemon and Trainer IDs as of recently) with a nice vacation in the cheerful Hoenn. Argento tells Diana about his accomplishments, skipping his "downfall" though. The girl is impressed by his results, and mentally marks him as both his idol and rival. She later kind of tours the two guys around during their vacation and the little group bonds quickly into friendship, so when Argento and Ash later leave they manage to keep in contact and Diana often goes visiting them.

Diana resumes her quest to be "the very best like no one ever was", even more fueled after having met her new friends.
She helps from the sidelines during the whole Aqua/Magma issue, more than glad to kick some criminal ass, but not really taking the gangs seriously (she thinks they're just a bunch of harmless idiots) and focusing on her own goals instead. During the pseudo-apocalypse she helps people evacuating from Sootopolis, and while Sapphire was taking on Kyogre, Diana, Martin (a friend of hers) and Wallace discovered a little group of juvenile Kyogre hidden in the cave. They were probably the children of the "main" Kyogre Sapphire was battling, and while Wallace suggested to leave them be, Diana didn't care at all, too blinded by the idea of having her favorite Legendary in her team, capturing one (Shio) with the help of Martin. That causes the main Kyogre to enrage even more, but eventually all together the Trainers -especially Sapphire- managed to defeat it.
Kind of regrets not going more into the whole issue though after seeing how Sapphire and Ruby saved the world from a soon-to-be apocalypse, both because she felt stupid and useless at not helping enough, and also because admittedly she's a very prideful person and would have liked being Hoenn's hero.

After that, she finally challenges the Elite 4, and becomes the new Champion of Hoenn; however, she refuses the title, preferring to be free of duties and travelling instead. She still often goes and re-challenges the E4, she currently has the record of beting it 247 times. The first time she had deafeated Steven, Argento and Ash immediately came to congratulate her, going on a cruise trip to celebrate and have fun. One of the stops was Vermillion City, and there the group met Larin, befriending the girl.

With all the regions known (back then Kanto, Johto and Hoenn) already explored, Championship obtained and all the Contests won already, Diana finds herself with little to do, so gets into aiming to complete the Pokedex. When not pursuing that, she spends most of her time at Mt.Silver in Argento's mansion, and she manages to make more friendships and have fun with other people. Her best friend though, becomes Larin, and has a crush on Argento. The crush doesn't last much though, as, with living basically together, she quickly discovers about Argento's cheating and how it brought him to lose his Trainer ID. She loses most of her respect for the guy, and focuses even more into completing her Pokedex legally -unlike him- in an almost obsessive way. She gets to the point of forcing others to help her in her quest through items and Pokemon, unintentionally ending up with the same toxic behaviour Argento had during his early teenage years (ironically, they both end up using more the people they cherish the most; Diana her best friend Larin, and Argento his cousin Kristy).

Eventually, Diana gets to learn that the Johto roaming trio is also visiting Kanto, even though only one at a time because of Kanto's own Legendaries' aggressive behaviour. So she convinces Larin to catch Raikou, the at the time roaming Pokemon avaliable, and trade it to her. However, after getting her hands on the Legendary, Diana basically forced her to give up her Trainer ID and let Karin be a Trainer instead, so that the girl could bring her Entei; now that Larin had caught Raikou, apparentely the remaining two Legendaries of the trio didn't dare to approach her. Diana used Karin in the exact same way, and looked for even another person who could get her Suicune (successfully; the person was just an acquaintenance).*

After really seeing how much hurt she brought to others, Diana changed her ways, and to amend started travelling more to see if her help was needed. Since Argento became a Pokemon Ranger, she used that as an excuse to butt in Ranger missions and help (this is maybe how she met Trinity? I still have to talk to Krissy). She still is a close friend to Larin, but of course there's still a little crack between them and things are not as before; after meeting Trinity the girls became best friends, and Diana learned thanks to her to open up about her friendships more, she's a bit more loving with her friends like Argento, Larin, Ash, Ralant, etc.

Diana currently is living in the Mt.Silver mansion with all the others, but travels very often. She's still into competitive battling and won't say no to an occasion to improve her Pokedex, but isn't nearly as obsessed as before. Mainly tries to improve herself, mostly as a person, and is still trying to understand what she wants to do with her life job-wise (she'll probably take on professional/competitive Pokemon battling, or something that allows her to travel often; her dream still is becoming THE Pokemon Master).

**Notes**
*This is quite hard to explain; basically, just like happened with Argento/my Silver game, Diana/Sapphire was the most important game to me back then and any other game I had were basically her side bitches existing only to help her complete the Pokedex x,D Since I couldn't catch Raikou anymore due to lack of Masterball I transferred all Larin's Pokemon to Sapphire (still attached to the bae afterall;; ) and restarted the game as a "new" Larin with the sole puprose to get Raikou; at the same time, I got Entei with Karin and then resetted her game as well to get myself a Suicune. I kinda feel guilty to just wipe away my gals because of Diana, but I was a dumb kid....

 :bulletblue:Pokemon:
*Pokemon team is kinda unrealistic I know, it's just my in-game team and I'm very attached to it; will try and change it so that she doesn't have all of these legendaries/starters in it though! xP

---Cico [♂ Linoone, Rash, lvl 100];
[Pick Up] - [Silk Scarf] - [Thief / Surf / Slash / Return]

The first Pokemon she captured by herself, when he was a little lvl 3 Zigzagoon, and they've been inseparable ever since. Cico always stays a child at heart despite his age and experience, and is always seen around being a little rascal or just being silly. He's pretty sneaky, but only when he wants to, aka whenever he wants to steal something. He's kind of a cleptomaniac, and loves collecting anything that isn't his. He even "recruited" young Zigzagoons for a period of time to teach them to properly use their natural ability Pick Up, since younger ones seemed to collect rarer things. Runs a lot, and at very high speed, but sucks with turns so he often crashes against things. Loves to swim (he's the official team Surfer) and has a weak spot for blue/dry PokeBlocks.

---Tsunami [♀ Swampert, Adamant, lvl 100]
[Torrent] - [Sitrus Berry/other items] - [Ice Beam / Dig / Surf / Endeavor]
Her starter Pokemon, and despite the great love and faith they have in each other, that doesn't make her Diana's "favorite" (comes after Cico and Shio). Tsunami was pretty bubbly as a Mudkip, but after Diana's rigid training and more serious challenges like fighting Team Aqua and challenging the Elite 4 her personality became a lot more mature and quiet. What she loves the most is teaching the new additions to Diana's Pokedex how to fight, and especially exploring with her Trainer and/or just chilling in the wildlife, perhaps observing some wild Pokemon with her. Is very tough and determined, never gives a s*it about what others think of her, and is very protective of her friends, being the first Pokemon to the team (considers herself as a sort of big sister). She won the Master Ribbon in the Tough Contest, likes collecting Shards, and her favorite place is Route 119.

---Shio [Kyogre, considered as a female, Naive, lvl 100]
[Drizzle] - [Quick Claw] - [Ice Beam / Earthquake / Hydro Pump / Sheer Cold]
The legendary -and generally, Pokemon- she always admired and loved the most, and yet ironically the one she didn't catch completely by herself (IRL I couldn't catch Kyogre, so I lent my game to a friend to catch it for me). Diana was expecting the Pokemon to be majestic and stoic, however Shio proved to be a shy sweetheart who becomes a total bitch only when arguing with her cousin Groudon. Shio is calm and compassionate, and has a genuine interest in humans; in fact, she can be seen interacting more with them than with other Pokemon, thanks also to her telepathic powers. She kind of became everyone's confident since she likes so much to chat and is good at giving advices (she talks a lot especially to Ash). After a lifetime of thinking she was more heels over ladies (due also to Suicune's influence), accepted the fact she's bi and currently has a crush on Matt's Palkia (he is kind of androgynous anyways ahah). Is a bit insecure about her looks, thinking she's too fat. Never liked Groudon, and with their uncle, Inochi (Rayquaza) she's in neutral terms. She likes him, but hates how he's so bossy with her and how he's always sticking his nose in her business.

---Goku [♂ Blaziken, Brave, lvl 100, traded by Lucia]
[Blaze] - [King Rock] - [Blaze Kick / Sky Uppercut / Fire Punch / Slash]

---Inochi [Rayquaza, considered as a male, Adamant, lvl 100]
[Air Lock] - [Black Glasses] - [Crunch / Fly / Outrage / Extreme Speed];

 :bulletblue:Trivia:

---She has a pretty "big" build, with strong muscles and 173cm in height.
