Natsune is an old friend of Okita, Hijikata, and Kondo. She grew up within the area near Kondo's dojo, and found herself visiting it often as a child to see and hang out with the others. In particular Okita, though on occasion Hijikata as well - the latter of which she started referring to as her older brother despite him not actually being so.

Though she stayed behind in her childhood with Okita's sister Mitsuba once the other left, she travels to Edo at the same time Mitsuba does to see the others again. Soon after the events of that situation, she ends up moving to Edo, feeling lonely back home with no one else really around.

Personality

Natsune is a rather sweet and cheerful girl. She's not really a fighter, but constantly cheers on those around her. She can be rather oblivious to what's going on around her, the type of person to see two people fighting and point out how they're such good friends. On top of that can be just the slightest bit naive, making it possible to end up in dangerous situations without her actually realizing if not careful.

Natsune doesn't get angered very easily at all, but has to been known to pout and appear angry when teased or having her crush pointed out (though it's not exactly serious anger in any way). It's a wonder if she can actually get genuinely angry, leading some to find that trait a bit unnerving. Has also made some comments here and there implying that she might not be just as innocent as she acts all the time.

• Has a nickname for every person she considers herself friends with.
• Mostly refers to Hijikata as her older brother because she always wanted a sibling, however she does genuinely look up to him for some reason.
