• Splinter comes from the dark grey flecks in his coat(as well as being a pointy thing like his mother CactusHeart and sister PricklePond)
• Petal comes from his delicate heart (and in relation to his mentor and leader RoseStar)
• His Star was formed from his face scar, representing his strength through his pain

Born of she-cat warrior CactusHeart and kittypet tom Eddie. He was always curious of his father, especially from the stories his mother would tell of them. As an older kit he snuck out of camp to meet his father for the first time at him home. Just before he could get there he was viciously attacked by a dog, only narrowly saved by his mother.

Much of his apprenticeship was spent healing, relearning how to walked, and compensating for his limited sight and mobility. He was an incredibly angry cat and constantly frustrated with himself and his body; but with his mentor RoseStar, the elderly medicine cat, and the upcoming medicine cat apprentice(his sister PricklePaw) SplinterPaw would grow into a fine, if not reckless, warrior.

He would mentor a young WispyKit(later WispyLavender )after she swapped from medicine to warrior apprentice

After the final death of RoseStar, SplinterPetal (with rose's last worlds to him at heart) challenged the current deputy SteamStep to a duel for the role of leader. he would successfully defeat her and gain her and the clan's respect as he because SplinterStar, determined to give justice to RoseStar and bring DustClan to it's former glory

He holds incredibly noble goals, hyper confident, and is self sacrificial to a fault. Off the battlefield SplinterStar is carefree and goofy, just like having a good time with his friends and clan. He's very open to outside cats even with their harsh territory. In battle he is brutal with no fear, he will do anything needed to protect or save something weaker than it. Despite his current rank he secretly fears being weak, of ever being the small defenseless kit he once was.

• he's weakest in his front legs so relies heavier in bites and kicks
