He carries himself with an air of confidence and self-assurance, exuding a quiet strength that draws others to him. Despite his formidable abilities and involvement in the supernatural world, Jan remains grounded and down-to-earth, never allowing his powers to define him entirely. Jan is fiercely loyal and protective, especially when it comes to those he cares about. He values trust and holds deep respect for personal boundaries, often displaying a strong sense of honour and integrity. He is not one to easily betray others and takes his responsibilities seriously, particularly in his role as a chief security officer.
Powers
As his parents were not of the same species - one being a werewolf and the other being a powerful mage - twins were to be expected, where each would carry on one parent’s lineage. However, he consumed his twin in the womb which resulted in him being a unique kind of werewolf; further enhanced by his time of birth - the moon was in eclipse when he took his first breath.
Instead of assuming a full werewolf form, he possesses an ability to tap into the power of shadows and become a shadow wolf during the night. Namely, when night falls, Jan's body undergoes a fascinating metamorphosis. His physical form remains partially human, but he has the ability to manipulate and merge with shadows, effectively becoming one with the darkness. As he envelops himself in the shadows, they weave and intertwine around him, taking on the shape and essence of a formidable shadow wolf.
In this shadow wolf form, Jan possesses enhanced speed, agility, and strength; in addition to that, he seamlessly melds with the darkness, which allows him to move stealthily and strike from unexpected angles. Moreover, the shadows grant him a heightened sense of perception, enabling him to detect even the slightest movements or disturbances in his environment. Furthermore, he can extend tendrils of shadow to ensnare or immobilise adversaries, using them as versatile tools in combat.

Heath and Jan's relationship is a compelling mix of attraction, respect, and a deep emotional connection. Initially rooted in idealisation, their bond evolved as Jan learnt more about Heath - his vulnerabilities and secrets, little things that build up and make him more than simply an idol.

He can effortlessly navigate urban landscapes, leaping across rooftops, scaling walls, and performing daring acrobatic manoeuvres with grace and precision. His flexibility, balance, and quick reflexes allow him to execute complex parkour stunts, making him a formidable opponent in physical confrontations. Jan's parkour skills not only serve as a means of practical mobility but also provide him with a sense of freedom and liberation as he traverses the world around him.
- He has particularly good senses, especially in low-light conditions. This is due to his lineage and specific birth conditions.
