FACIAL EXPRESSIONS:
neutral: Maiko’s normal expression consists of just a relaxed look on her face, maybe the occasional flick of her tongue here and there.
happy: When happy, Maiko has a smile on her face, and the occasional tongue flicker here and there.
sad: When sad, Maiko keeps her eyes fixated on the ground, and even though she doesn’t generally cry, depending on what happened tears might be forming in her eyes.
excited:  When excited, Maiko’s eyes light up and she rapidly flicks her tongue in and out of her mouth.
bored: When bored, Maiko has a blank expression on her face, and almost looks a bit annoyed.
angry: When angry, Maiko’s eyes narrows, and a scowl is apparent on her face. Hisses at those who mess with her during this time.

HERO OUTFIT: ♡ Rather like this, though designed a bit differently. Whereas, in snake form it doesn't particularly matter, on the off chance a fight takes too long and she needs to transform back, she wanted a designed in which was easy to move around in, since her flexibility is an important skill of hers. Plus it reminded her of something one would dance in, reminiscent of the meaning of her name. 
 
QUIRK
QUIRK NAME: Midgard Serpent
QUIRK ABILITY: Maiko can turn into a giant serpent. She can swallow up anything in that form which she herself would not normally be able to eat, though a cut from her fangs will also inject venom into her target. However, if she maintains this form for long periods time she runs the risk of losing control of herself and becoming much like that of an actual serpent.

        - Nothing major to note, but she does get sick easily in the winter.
SIGNIFICANCE: If anything it’s mostly just do to the fact her body temperature is a bit more on the cold-blooded side. She gets cold easily and this happens more so in the winter when there’s a lack of heat, which tends to lead to her getting sick easier.

ADDICTIONS: Her most notable addictions would be to books and psychology.
SIGNIFICANCE: Maiko spent a lot of time reading growing up, so it’s only natural she’d develop a love for books. As for psychology, it’s simply due to the fact she takes a major interest in how emotions and all sorts of other things work when it comes to people.

[  PERSONALITY / PSYCHOLOGICAL  ]
 
POSITIVE ATTRIBUTES:  Maiko is actually quite smart and quick thinking on both her feet and in her mind. She can easily come up with the answer to a problem, both in school and in battle. She is also quite the bookworm, and would rather be reading a good book than out at a party or something of the sorts. Granted, that doesn’t mean she is antisocial, actually she talks an average amount of the time, and does enjoy making friends. On top of that, Maiko can be fairly calm a good portion of the time, being able to cooly think of a solution to most problems, though the exception to this is when she is faced against her fears.
NEGATIVE ATTRIBUTES: Maiko doesn’t really understand emotions that well, and whereas she does feel them, she isn’t too sure what to label them off as, and has absolutely no idea on how to comfort others or talk about others’ emotions when they need help. She also isn’t very good at picking up on jokes or anything of the sort, more likely to point out what is wrong with the joke and how it is illogical and couldn’t happen. To add on to that, she also has a bad habit of pointing out when others are wrong. She certainly does not mean any harm by it, but she just wants people to know the facts right, so they won’t mess up and make a mistake that could affect them being time.
 
INFLUENCES:

• Her parents are actually both major influences to her and she sees them as important figures in her life.
• A few figures in myths and folklores she also sees as influences as well, especially the ones  that overcome their foes despite the odds.

 
MOTIVATION: The idea alone of being able to protect others is actually motivation for her. Though she’s also motivated by the idea of being able to fight alongside people important to her.
STRESSORS: The times Maiko gets most stressed out would probably be in situations in which she’s worrying about losing control of herself. She doesn’t wish to hurt anyone important to her, so the idea causes her a lot of stress. Also gets stressed when gets colder outside, worrying she may get sick and be forced to stay back and rest while the others are doing something important.
 
FEARS: Mongoose, large birds, other animals that prey on serpents, losing control of herself
SIGNIFICANCE: Common fears derived the fact that she can become a serpent, and serpents are generally preyed on by these creatures. Somewhat an instinct to be wary of them which became a fear? She also fears losing control of herself while being a serpent because she worries she’ll hurt those she cares about.
 
HABITS: She has a habit of chewing on her lip when deep in thought. Along with that another habit of hers is flicking her tongue a lot, much like a snake would.
SIGNIFICANCE: Well flicking her tongue sort of just came along with her quirk, though chewing on her lip was a situation in which it just ended up happening out of nowhere and then she couldn’t stop.
 
SKILLS: She is a quick thinker, and is able to easily think up solutions to most problems. Aside from that, she also rather flexible, making it easy for her to do tasks that would require such a skill. Along with that she’s pretty skilled in being sneaky, able to slip up quietly on people without them even knowing in the slightest.
HOBBIES: Reading is bound to be a hobby of hers, especially when it comes to old types of literature. She has a secret hobby of hers as well though, which is actually collecting little figurines or even stuffed toys of reptiles. She can’t help but love them especially considering her quirk is centered around one. Due to her flexibility she does gymnastics as well, and actually enjoys it very much. Figures she can use some of what it has taught her in battle as well even if it isn’t something that involves fighting.

PERSONAL SIGNIFICANCE OF PARTNER: When Maiko and Fumikage had first met she had actually been rather afraid of him. She had mistaken the boy for a giant bird, and for a while feared he would attack or eat her for whatever reason until the issue was settled. Little by little after that the two actual began to talk more, though at first their conversations would be rather small and cut short. It took a bit but eventually they ended up considering each other to be friends, and their conversations started grow and happen more often. At some point they had developed feelings for each other, though Maiko didn’t really understand what her feelings meant as she had never felt something like that before. So the confession ended up actually rather accidental as in Maiko just started describing how she felt to him without really knowing what it meant, but it turned out those feelings were mutual at least.
 
PLATONIC AND / OR FRIENDLY

• Maiko considers all of Class 1-D to be her friends, whether those feelings are returned or not. They are her classmates after all, and it’s not like she has an issue with any of them. She feels she gets along with them rather well, and is happy to be in a class in which she isn’t judged for her quirk.

• Most of the students from other classes, with the exceptions of a few due to Class 1-D, she is rather neutral towards. She’s never really had many discussions with a good portion of them, so she can’t really consider them to be her friends, but she certainly doesn’t feel hostile towards them either. It’s just neutral area if anything.

• It’s a bit obvious, but of course the Villain Alliance she feels hostile towards. They are the ones she’s going to have to fight against after all. It’s natural for her to feel that way.
