          This spear belonged to her beloved older brother, Ruien. His name was known throughout the skydoms as a skilled opposition to those of the Erste Empire. The sight of his spear brings awe to those who have never seen it, and fear to those who have once faced it.

Background History: 
Ruielle is in search of her beloved older brother, Ruien. When he stopped sending her letters, she took the search for her brother into her own hands, wondering what could have happened to him. She meets Danchou and their crew. Hearing that they are fighting against the Empire, Ruielle asks if she can join them in their fight, as the empire may be the missing key to finding her brother. 

Ruielle hears rumors of a great spear-master imprisoned on the island by the Erste Empire. She originally planned to take on these rumors herself, only to be caught by Danchou, who offers to help find her older brother in a co-op mission. They sneak into the prison that the townspeople spoke of, fighting imperials at certain points. Ruielle peaks into a certain prison room, finding her dearest elder brother in chains. Ruielle breaks him out of prison and they fight their way out and back onto the Grandcypher. Reunited with her brother, Ruien, she cries and thanks Danchou for their help. 

Personality: 
Ruielle is a gentle woman. Although gentle, she learned how to use a spear from her older brother after the death of their parents from the Empire. She’s a mother-figure to friends and has a soft spot for those younger than her. Ruielle is generally a soft-spoken person and helps with the cooking on the Grandcypher. She also likes to watch butterflies and birds fly in the sky. It reminds her of her brother, Ruien. 

When she wields’ her brother’s spear in battle, she holds a lot of resolve. The resolve to hurt and injure others that are in her way. The resolve to find her dearest brother and the resolve to face the consequences after the battle. She’s much more commandeering on the battlefield, quite opposite from her more gentle and docile side.
