What’s the buzz? That’s the question Theodore Kingsly seeks to answer every other week in his magazine called…”The Buzz”. Theo has made a career of learning as much as he can about absolutely everything. He’s very curious, and loves sharing what he learns with the world! He’s friendly, energetic and charismatic, and loves talking to other ‘puffs!
“The Buzz” is Theodore’s pride and joy. He’s constantly writing, editing or researching! He’s always busy, as it’s hard for a printed magazine to keep up with the rapid fire newscasting of television, podcasts and blogs. Despite his struggles, he’s determined to keep the tradition of print alive, and produces magazines for his small group of invested subscribers.
Theo’s commitment to “The Buzz” makes it hard for him to keep close friends. He still adores hanging out with others, but it’s usually work related. Most of his interactions occur from interviews or interacting with readers. He has an attitude where he considers everyone a friend, but he doesn’t regularly talk to many ‘puffs.

Character
History
Theo was born on Celest, a peaceful planet with a large cultural focus on nature. His childhood days were filled with gardening and beekeeping, two passions which influenced his future aesthetic. Celest deals a lot with repurposing recycled materials into practical things, fashion or art! It was through this practice of upcycling that Theo found out about the wonderful world of magazines. One day, he was visiting the Celestial Scrap Exchange, when he stumbled upon a box full of newspaper. Something about that box filled with off white pages and blocks of small black text spoke to him, and he read through many of the loose pages. He was enchanted by the stories that they told. Most ‘puffs wouldn’t view these stories as mind blowing, but to someone who grew up away from most news sources, it was like finding gold.
Theo was inspired to make a magazine of his own, reporting on the news in Celest. He was only able to make a few copies at a time, due to having no access to any print related machinery. Handwriting every issue was tedious, but he enjoyed it. The stories on the first few issues were boring, due to Celest's down to earth nature, but occasionally he'd strike gold in the form of a lost blobbu or the announcement of an exciting find at the scrap exchange.
Obviously, Celest was not the ideal place to start up a magazine. There weren’t the resources required and frankly, most spacepuffs weren't interested. Theo decided he would move to Central Star to pursue his dreams!
